On July 14 2017, War for the Planet of the Apes was released in theaters. This film was the third in a trilogy that explored the senescence of human dominance on Earth following the release of a virus that killed off most people and made other apes more intelligent. Eric builds on themes presented in these films to explore the relationship humans have with their planet and the other species we share it with.
